Mitzvah Monday: A Snowstorm Doesn’t Stop This Long Island Mitzvah from Being a Blast!

Mazel Tov to Brandon, who became a Bar Mitzvah during a Havdalah service at Old Westbury Country Club earlier this year. Bryan’s family looked on with pride during the service and then it was party time! We loved the very creative displays designed by Pat & Glenn Productions: tiered white and green florals sitting a variety of clear vases. The display paired with votive candles was a unique and modern look. More than Music team’s brought the house down as guests hit the dance floor to celebrate. Happy “Snowmitzvah”, Brandon!

MITZVAH MONDAY: Jamie’s Pink Leopard Mitzvah Bash

It was AWESOME being a part of Jamie’s big day from photographing her at our studio to meeting her family at Congregation KTI in Portchester to the big celebration at Trump National Golf Club in Westchester! Event planners Pat Glenn Productions transformed the golf club into a hot pink leopard haven with neon and metallic custom designed furniture and pink, green and red hydrangea, rose and orchid centerpieces! The room was draped and lit in hot pink with LED light up stages for all of Jamie’s friends to dance on! Jamie changed into a hot pink ballgown mid party, a trend we are seeing a lot these days! Jamie’s very own Shake Shack Food Truck was a big hit at the end of the night, as friends and family grabbed burgers and fries while waiting for their cars. MITZVAH MONDAY: Garden of Eden at The Grove in Cedar Grove, NJ

The “Garden of Eden” came to life at Eden’s Bar Mitzvah at The Grove. Eden read from the Torah at an evening Havdalah service at the venue. Guests enjoyed cocktails and conversation while Sarah took in the room, designed so gracefully by Pat Glenn Productions. It was a truly a fairy tale evening- from the colorful florals and greenery to the butterflies on the dance floor and the custom pink floral Mitzvah cake . Eden changed dresses, ending the night in a pink and white dress and posing for pictures by the “Forbidden Fruit Cafe” where guests picked up candy and snacks for the ride home. It is always great to work with Evan from E Three Productions, who provided the awesome entertainment for the evening. Mazel Tov, Eden!

Jeffrey’s Black and White Bar Mitzvah Bash at Glen Head Country Club

Jeffrey’s Black & White Bar Mitzvah was held at Glen Head Country Club. The third child of the family, Jeffrey watched as his older brother and sister got the honor and now it was his turn! The Mitzvah celebration began at a service/luncheon earlier in the week. The party continued at a Saturday night black and white-themed bash, with decor and entertainment coordinated by Pat Glenn Productions. Guests enjoyed performances by two different dance troops. All the guests donned their best black & white attire and lucite tables, black chairs and hanging floral arrangements made for a very unique room layout. Jeffrey lit tea light candles instead of a cake for his candlelighting, which was also special. Check out the Mitzvah in photos below.

“Izzie”‘s Bat Mitzvah at Long Island City’s Studio Square

“Izn’t” she lovely? Isabel’s Bat Mitzvah journey began at our studio with her awesome photo session with our photographer, Liel. From Tshirts and jeans to her soccer uniform, dress and tiara, Isabel’s personality really shined through at her pre-Mitzvah studio shoot.

We then met up with Isabel and her family at Temple Israel on 75th Street for a pre-Mitzvah photo session on the bimah with her parents and sister Jacqueline. Izzie’s party continued with family and friends at Studio Square in Queens! Clad in blues and teals, Isabel and her family coordinated perfectly with the blue-themed party decor and table cloths, courtesy of Atlas Floral Decorators. Pat Glenn Productions, event coordinators, tied all the details together to make for one successful night. Isabel’s love of soccer was highlighted through the Mitzvah cake and our studio created an awesome Sign In Book featuring Isabel’s birth certificate and art projects from when she was a child!

MITZVAH MONDAY: Sports-Themed Mitzvah Bash

MITZVAH MONDAY: Fox Sports took over Old Westbury Country Club at Tyler’s Bar Mitzvah! Our photographer, Leo, was on hand to photograph the wonderfully special Mitzvah moments where Tyler recited his Torah and Haftorah portion before partying the night away at his sports- themed bash, designed and conceptualized by Mom, Gail, and Pat Glenn Productions. Dancers dressed in referee uniforms welcomed Tyler to the party and the 5 tier Mitzvah cake featured an edible version of Tyler in his football gear at the top! The elegant and lush seating card & orchid “tree” added a special touch to the Mitzvah decor. Mazel Tov on your Bar Mitzvah, Tyler!

Jeffrey’s Bar Mitzvah at Glen Head Country Club

MITZVAH MONDAY: Our photographer, Leo, photographed Nicole and Andrew’s Bar & Bat Mitzvahs and now it’s Jeffrey’s turn! The youngest of the family, Jeffrey became a Bar Mitzvah at Glen Head Country Club where he recited his Torah and Haftorah portion with his family cheering him on for good luck. After the service, family and friends gathered for a Kiddush luncheon celebrating Jeffrey. Saturday night was a true bash. Pat Glenn Productions planned a killer event from black and white room decor featuring candelabras and custom ordered goblets to the candle-only candlelighting and the amazing dance performers and light show! The highlight of the night? Jeffrey’s very own donut shop where guests came to feast on their favorites before heading home after a great party.

Liana’s Winter Wonderland at The Pierre Hotel

It’s holiday time.. and that crispness in the air paired with the first snowfall of the season takes us back in time to Liana’s Bat Mitzvah. Liana became a Bat Mitzvah at Temple Emanu-El here in Manhattan. The beautiful stained glass windows set the stage for Liana’s Havdallah ceremony. Following services, friends and family celebrated with Liana at her winter wonderland-themed Mitzvah bash at the The Pierre Hotel. Thanks to Pat Glenn Productions, the party was a blast! Liana’s hot pink gown really popped against all the winter white. Congrats, Liana!

Ben’s Bar Mitzvah at Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Hotel

Ben became a Bar Mitzvah at Beth David Reform Congregation earlier this year. Mom, Dad and sisters Hailey and Sophie were on hand to congratulate Ben on a job well done. The festivities continued at The Rittenhouse Hotel where family and friends celebrated with Ben. The theme of the night? Tennis! Pat Glenn Productions did an amazing job transforming the room at The Rittenhouse with neon green and black couches, customized lockers for all the kids to keep their stuff in during the night and beautiful centerpieces adorned with flowers and… tennis balls!

Jonah & Jesse’s B’nai Mitzvah

Mazel Tov to Jonah and Jesse, who celebrated their B’nai Mitzvah together with their proud family. The event was nostalgic, taking place at the site of the boys’ father’s Bar Mitzvah, Terrace on the Park in Queens. After the service at Congregation Rodeph Sholom, guests took a “Kiddush To Go” bag home filled with bagels and treats.

Pat Glenn Productions, the event planners for Jonah and Jesse’s B’nai Mitzvah day, commented on Sarah’s photos and put it best when they said, “You captured the colors [of the party] beautifully!”

Austin’s Bar Mitzvah at Temple Judea and the Glen Oaks Club

I was thrilled to be a part of Austin’s big day! It was so much fun to work with such a great family. I traveled to Temple Judea in Manhasset to photograph Austin and his family on the bimah. Photographing Bar and Bat Mitzvah kids with the Torah is such a special experience for me. I then shared in the joy of the party festivities at Glen Oaks Club in Westbury. More than Music provided the tunes for the evening and the room was decorated with the professional flair of Pat Glenn Productions. Mazel Tov, Austin!
