Sydney and Gabriella are a year apart in age and in school, but when it came to becoming a Bat Mitzvah, why not do it together? Mom Michelle and Dad Danny are old friends of Sarah’s from years back and it was an honor for Sarah to photograph this special occasion with the family! The week of the B’nai Mitzvah, Sarah met up with Sydney, Gabriella, Michelle and Danny at Brotherhood Synagogue for a photo session with the girls in their tallit and the Torah. These images are images to treasure forever, capturing the memories of the Mitzvah for years to come.
The sibling duo,dressed in shades of blue with accents of silver, were excited for their Edison Ballroom Mitzvah bash with friends and family. Our Sarah Merians team, including photographer John, and videographers Davitte and Edwin, had a blast with Sydney and Gabriella first meeting the girls outside of the Ballroom for some great Times Square shots before the party began. Event coordinator Lisa Jaffe of Jaffe Events coordinated the purple, teal and gold-themed party with feathers, candles and lighting as accents, tying the room together perfectly. Floral designer Rebecca Shepherd designed the purple orchid centerpieces and a DJ/live band combo from E Three Productions kept the party moving on the dance floor. Our kids and adults photo booth stations were a big hit with all the party guests in addition to the montage we custom edited for the sisters.
