“If the adage that a picture is worth a thousand words is true, Ethan’s Bar mitzvah album is worth closer to 500,000 words. It is simply a treasure. I shared with my parents and have been admiring everything about it all weekend. I can’t wait to share it with family & friends. The images that Leo took of our family at the synagogue shoot the day before Ethan’s mitzvah weekend, and at James Ward Mansion immediately after the ceremony on one of the most meaningful days of my life (and Ethan’s) are nothing short of spectacular, and the photos that Leo and Sheila took on 10-18-14 at “The 13th Annual Ethan Awards” of our family of 6, parents, siblings, friends – both portraits and candid, as well as the decor are priceless. They capture the energy, love, excitement and happiness at the Crystal Plaza better than I ever could have imagined. I loved Lisa’s suggestions to add the text of the speeches and the photo booth photos to the album, too.
What I knew when I booked you before my wedding on 4-1-00 (no joke), was that long after the gorgeous flowers were dried up, the orchestra stopped playing and the custom bridal gown sadly no longer fit, my memories and gorgeous album were all that would remain of so much planning and love…so it was obvious to me, that we would again turn to Sarah Merians Photography to capture the first of four mitzvahs in our family. I couldn’t be happier that we did.
It’s been a pleasure working with all of you from initial meeting to pre-party shoot to the mitzvah weekend, album appointment and beyond. Thank you for obviously putting time, energy and your heart into making such an exquisite memory of what Ethan said was “the best day of his life.” Looking forward to working with you all again on Aidan’s.
Enjoy the summer!
Shari and the rest of the Bermans”
